Arranging the Funeral
Our services to you start when you contact us, whether by telephone or calling personally, and extend often way beyond the day of the funeral. On initial contact we will ask for the preliminary details, whereupon if the deceased has died at home or in a private nursing home we will advise the conveyance of the deceased to our private chapel. We would then ask, at a time and place to suit the family, for the funeral director to call and arrange the funeral to a standard and procedure that meets the needs and requirements of those concerned.
A memorial is a permanent and timeless reminder of a loved one and as such should be selected with care. When choosing a new headstone or marker consideration should be given to the names which may be added in future years in order that there is sufficient lettering space to allow for these. Your Memorial Sculptor should provide you with suggested inscriptions or ornamentation illustrating how the memorial will look when complete. There is no restriction on how soon after the funeral a memorial can be erected in the Cemetery. Please contact us to discuss any aspect of your memorial needs.
